All restaurants, cafes and pastry shops in Turkey will be required to place price tags at the entrance to establishments and tables for serving visitors. This rule will come into effect on January 1, 2024, according to the order of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic, which was published in the government gazette Resmi Gazeta.
It follows from it that all public catering establishments “must place documents, signs, panels indicating tariffs and prices for the services offered at the workplace, in front of the front door and on service tables in such a way that they can be easily seen and read by consumers.”
